K
aitlyn served as president, treasurer, and service chair
during her time as an active collegiate member in the Zeta
Upsilon chapter. She is described by her chapter as confident,
inspirational, and creative; a committed, accountable,
passionate leader that can delegate and empower. As a chapter leader,
Kaitlyn revitalized the treasurer position, created Google accounts to
organize each chapter office, planned Province Day, created a memorial
scholarship, and ran mock chapter meetings for new members so they
could experience the format of a chapter meeting prior to hearing
chapter business. Outside of SAI, Kaitlyn has served as the vice
president of the Society of Undergraduate Student Affairs, president
of the university's NAfME chapter, and captain of the university color
guard. Kaitlyn volunteers with Musicians on Call, the Salvation Army,
her University Honors Program, and the Kiwanis Club. In Kaitlyn's
national fraternity viewpoint she expresses her interest in being active
in SAI beyond her collegiate chapter, affiliating with an alumnae chapter
and setting her sights on becoming a member of the National Officers
Conference.
