PAN PIPES Fall 2018 43 Philanthropies 2018 SAI awards awards awards B ianca Pratte is a senior at Lawrence University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance with a minor in Music Theory. An active member of SAI's Xi Chapter, Bianca will serve as Editor on the Executive Board for the 2018-2019 year. Bianca was also the 2015 Wisconsin Flute Festival Collegiate Competition Winner, the 2015 NFA Collegiate Flute Choir Winner, the 2016 MTNA Young Artist Woodwind Competition Winner, and the 2018 Summer Flute Institute at MSU Denver Young Artist Competition Winner. Throughout my time there I gained exposure and experience with the ways they organize their team, communicate with large numbers of teachers and schools, plan workshops with their experienced and talented teaching artists, and ensure the comfort and positive experiences of all attendees...this stipend allowed me to take a risk by moving to a new city. Not only did it turn out to be a formative and crucial experience, I have been hired through January in the CETA program at the Kennedy Center.
