Rosenhaus' book The Concertgoer's Guide to the Symphony, was published in April, 2012, by The Music Gifts Company with distribution by LudwigMasters Publications. Written for first-time concertgoers, rosenhaus the book takes the reader from the initial impetus to attend a concert to what do afterward. Dr. Rosenhaus' most recent activities include commissions for a cello and piano work from the Delta Omicron Foundation, for a premiere in early 2015, and for a vocal work from soprano Nadine Carey for a premiere in February, 2013. Steven Rosenhaus is a frequent guest conductor of ensembles including U.S. military bands and local orchestras.
