In the past, Hartt has not been able to send many members due to the trip's cost, but this year the executive board of Hartt's NAfME chapter advocated for this cause to the dean, Music Education Division, Student Government Association, and local patrons of the arts. Four fundraisers were also held to supplement the cost. is allowed members to experience this wonderful conference held in the beautiful city of San Antonio with no financial burden. Many said that it was a life-changing experience that they hope to be able to have again. — Submitted by Julianna Curran, Editor, Eta Mu Chapter SAI Sing at the TMEA Convention, organized by the Theta Omega Chapter at Texas State University.
