Lor i Ardovino Mu Eta, University of Montevallo, Rho A, Region IV Dr. Lori Ardovino has been an invaluable asset for the Mu Eta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota since it was a colony. Dr. Lori, as she is known to the chapter, is a source of constant support and motivation. She actively assists the chapter from fundraising to ritual and is always prepared for a good conversation whenever you see her. When issues arise, Dr. Lori is the first to reach out and offer resolutions. Since their installation in 2015, Dr. Lori has given guidance to the chapter but has gradually stepped back to allow the chapter to spread its wings and grow on its own. She is the chapter's biggest cheerleader and is constantly striving to help them succeed, whether it be in school, music performance, SAI, or other life goals. Dr. Ardovino was initiated into SAI by the Gamma Xi chapter at Minnesota State University-Moorhead, where she received her BM and BA degrees, and is a member of the SAI Composers Bureau. She then went on to receive her Master's in Music from Michigan State University, followed by her DMA at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Currently, she is Professor of Music at the University of Montevallo where she teaches clarinet, saxophone, and woodwind methods and ensembles. Dr. Ardovino is an Artist/Clinician with Conn-Selmer Company, D'Addario Woodwinds, and is a Fulbright Specialist. She performs with the LeBaron Trio, the Meàllo Trio, the Vinna Trio, and the Cahaba Saxophone Quartet. D r.
