Lambda A, Region VI
The
chapter created a music education video project
in which chapter members created short videos
highlighting their instrument or vocal talents.
The videos were aimed to educate elementary music students.
Once all videos were completed, the chapter distributed the
videos via social media and through their contacts in the
Hillsborough County Public School District. Teachers from other
areas requested and used their videos. The chapter received
many thanks from the music teachers, and they hope to continue
collecting videos on an ongoing basis.

The
chapter presented a Women in Music workshop series
via Zoom. The first workshop was held in February,
Vocal Wellness with Broadway performer Carla Stickler.
The second workshop was held in March, a Composer Panel featuring
composers Amy Gordon, Bonnie Janofsky, and Kaitlyn Kimura. The final
workshop was held in April and was called The Music Industry Post-Covid:
Moving Forward, with guest speakers Paula Savastano, Rene Merideth,
Vickie Nauman, and Serona Elton.
