I have missed being in person with my sisters and am incredibly excited that we can celebrate our love of music together. Several articles in this issue of PAN PIPES highlight many of the events that will be taking place at Convention. We will be hosting outstanding performers, composers, and presenters during our five days in Greensboro. Our Composer/Judges — Andrea Clearfield and Amy Ribs Mills — have written some amazing pieces which will be performed at the IAMA Premier Concert on Friday night, July 29th. We will also have the world premiere of this year's winning composition. We are excited to host saxophonist Dr. Susan Fancher and pianist Dr. Suzanne Polak who will be performing on our Philanthropies Benefit Concert, to take place Saturday evening, July 30th. In addition to these performers, we have several inspiring keynote speakers as well as over thirty workshops planned for this Convention. It will be difficult to choose which ones to attend. Shopping for your favorite SAI paraphernalia will also be available throughout Convention from Herff Jones, our Official Jeweler, and SAI's Whistle Shop by Coastal Greek. Don't forget to bring extra money for those special items sold by our chapters at Phlea-Phlam, which takes place first thing on Saturday morning. I guarantee that this is a Convention you do not want to miss! Reflecting back on the past ten years as National President I continue to be amazed at the steadfast love and devotion our members have for our Fraternity. I sincerely thank the members of the National Executive Board, past and present, for their hard work in keeping SAI thriving through successes and challenges. I look forward to seeing what our future brings.
