S i g m a A l p h a I o t a A n n u a l F r at e r n i t y Awa r d s FALL 2022 35 A N N ELLE C H A N D LER M C A DA M S A LU M N A E SERV I C E P RO J EC T AWA RDS RALEIGH/DURHAM T a u D , R e g i o n V I The Raleigh/Durham Chapter was fortunate enough to participate in raising money as well as organizing sheet music for the Community Music School, a local organization that provides underprivileged students with private music lessons for as little as $1 per lesson. e chapter donated personal chapter funds, as well as their personal time, in order to help this organization. e Community School's music library was in desperate need of organization and the SAI sisters provided assistance with this for over 30 hours across the chapter. https://linktr.ee/saiphilpeopletopeople BOULDER X i C , R e g i o n I The Boulder Alumnae Chapter participated in the Marshall Fire Relief/ Colorado Wildfire Project (in conjunction with People-to-People). Two of their chapter members lost everything in the fire. Not only did they give them $650 at Lafayette Music (from a Live Generously grant from rivent Financial and other donations), but they are working with People-to-People to collect donations on a larger scale for those impacted by the Marshall Fire. ey are working as a chapter to solicit donations, money, and musical instruments. C ATE G O RY I (1-2 0 M E M B E R S) The People-to-People Linktree holds all current project information, allowing it to be easily shared amongst SAI members and the public. It contains Google forms for all current USA projects, as well as donating and requesting forms for international projects. There is also a folder of downloadable resources for fundraisers, such as fliers, contact cards, instructions, and more!
