Lambda C, Region VI
The Volusia County Alumnae Chapter implemented "SAI at your SERVICE." (SERVICE is an acronym for Sisterhood,
Enrichment, Representation, Volusia County, Inclusion, Community, and Engagement.) They presented seven performances,
led educational discussions, and engaged residents in sing-alongs. They volunteered monthly at a food bank packing food
boxes for more than 2,000 families. In 2023–24, the Rose Marie Bryon Children's Center served 2,556 households and 6,680
individuals thanks to the help of Volusia County Alumnae Chapter. The chapter also served as volunteer musicians in local
musical programs and donated a piano to St. Brendan's Catholic School to start a music program.
EDMOND
Zeta B, Region II
The Edmond Alumnae Chapter partnered with a local organization that works with neurodivergent
pre-teens and teens. They held four free music classes with several neurodivergent children of a wide
range of ages. Classes consisted of bucket drumming, Boomwhackers, and a sing-along.
It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved, and they hope to partner with another similar
organization this fiscal year.
