Dear Readers, We are in the final stretch of the Convention countdown! In three short months, Sigma Alpha Iota will gather in Minneapolis to kickstart another memorable triennium. I am thrilled to share this issue that showcases our very own Ruth Sieber Johnson, Convention Honoree and keynote speaker. Personally, Ruth has been a cornerstone in my SAI journey, from memorizing her name and position as an MIT to my recent acceptance as PAN PIPES Editor. One of my favorite memories of Ruth is the first time I visited National Headquarters with my little, where a tour of the building was followed by tea served in rose-patterned teacups. She continues to go above and beyond for the Fraternity, which has inspired so many of us. It is a joy to share her story with you, and I can't wait for us all to honor her at the 2025 National Convention. This issue shares highlights from all areas of our sisterhood's talents in the many ways we love music—both traditional and more non-conventional. Recipients of grants from SAI Philanthropies, Inc. share their experiences at conferences and in music education, bringing lessons they learned back to fellow educators and students alike. Read about a musical theater performer turned entrepreneur, who brings a love of music into a new career—board game design (they're more alike than you think!). Find inspiration in the Oklahoma Seniors' Cabaret, who prove that performing and having fun is a lifelong experience. Travel to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the eclectic Bayernhof Museum, and to Austria to visit Maestro Leopold Hager. If you're inspired to share your own musical story, interview, or service project, share it with PAN PIPES! We are always open to articles that further showcase our sisterhood and the wonderful ways music impacts our lives. Please reach out to me at SAIPanPipesEditor@gmail.com. Fraternally, Angela C.
