sai-national.org • Summer 2025 3 The Advantages of Many Generations: SAIs Working in Harmony Kate Slaboch Kirkpatrick Each new generation of SAIs comes from different backgrounds and sets of ideals that shape how we live. Particularly in alumnae chapters, we see members of many generations working in harmony together. But how can we improve our chapter life with joy and connectedness, and by leaning on each other's strengths? Together, let's dive into what makes each generation tick, looking at historical, economic, and technological advances that still affect us today. We'll brainstorm ways to use these insights to enhance chapter programming, fundraising, and communications. Choosing Music Therapy as a Career: Clinicians and Students Share Their Stories Yvonne Glass, Amelia Glass, Allison Kerr Interested in a career in music therapy or simply want to know more about the profession? Through experiential exercises, clinical stories, and personal insights, attendees will leave the session with a deeper understanding of the profession and how to pursue next steps to begin a career as a music therapist.
