PAN PIPES FALL 2025 2 0 2 5 S I G M A A L P H A I O T A A W A R D S F R A T E R N I T Y 33 Edie Marshall Pasadena, Delta A, Region I NATIONAL ALUMNAE LEADERSHIP AWARD REGIONAL ALUMNAE LEADERSHIP AWARD DIAMOND SWORD OF HONOR Edie has served the fraternity in many capacities during her seventy-five years in SAI. An initiate of the Alpha Omicron chapter in 1950, she has since served as Province Officer, Regional Officer, and the Distinguished Member Committee, where she made it a point to mentor fellow SAI members. As member of the Pasadena Alumnae Chapter, she has served as Recording Secretary, Vice-President Membership, and has both chaired and participated in the chapter's bylaws committee. Throughout her musical years, Edie has performed piano and organ for church services and sang in church choirs. She was spokesperson at her chapter's annual Composers Concerts, a fundraiser for SAI Philanthropies, Inc. She continues to host the chapter's SAI holiday party at her assisted living facility, where their members perform a holiday sing-along with the residents. Whenever she speaks to audiences about the fraternity or SAI Philanthropies, Inc., people took great interest and helped convince others to donate to Philanthropies. Edie's love for SAI and its long history was so great that she funded the Ritual and Museum Room at National Headquarters. She is a recipient of the Sword of Honor, Rose of Honor, Rose of Dedication, Rose of Constancy, Ring of Excellence, and Wreath of Achievement.
