10 Fall 2025 • sai-national.org five days in July, SAIs gathered at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, Minnesota, for the 51st National Convention. All parts of Convention—from its many workshops to Phlea-Phlam—exemplified its theme, "United in Music." In the words of Jessica Chichester, National President, and Tracey Wygal Withrow, Chairman, SAI Philanthropies, Inc. in their opening letter, "[We] gather to celebrate the bonds of sisterhood, the power of music, and the incredible strength of unity that lies at the heart of our Fraternity." Each General Session featured a keynote address and musicale alongside official business. Thirty different workshops were offered across two days, with topics ranging from collegiate and alumnae life, financial planning, and career development. The SAI Mall was open each day with Convention merchandise, including Herff Jones and SAI's newest official vendor, The Letter Market. Convention also featured two new additions this triennium: The first was the SAI sensory room, which was a space to decompress from the bustle of Convention. The lights were kept low and the room equipped with bean bag chairs, blankets, and fidget items that allowed a moment away from the noise. SAI also welcomed Teddy, a certified therapy dog. Teddy and his handler, Dr. Deb Volker, became a certified team in 2024 and already completed over seventy-five visits. This Convention was Teddy's first multi-day event.
