PAN PIPES FALL 2025 2 0 2 5 S I G M A A L P H A I O T A A W A R D S F R A T E R N I T Y 35 CATEGORY I (1-20 MEMBERS) Psi Knox College, Upsilon A, Region V Psi hosted a concert at the Galesburg Community Arts Center, featuring performances by both Sigma Alpha Iota musicians and on-campus bands that included SAI members. This event not only showcased the artistry of Psi's sisters but also highlighted the collaborative spirit of the Knox College music community. The concert strengthened ties with the Galesburg arts community. The evening was also a successful fundraiser, with proceeds supporting both Psi Chapter and the Community Arts Center. E. JANE RUBY NATIONAL COLLEGIATE SERVICE PROJECT AWARDS CATEGORY III (36+ MEMBERS) Beta Psi East Carolina University, Tau D, Region VI Beta Psi participated in the Greenville Youth Arts Festival, sharing the joy of music and sisterhood with the local community. The chapter hosted an interactive booth where sisters sang familiar tunes, inviting participants to guess the song for a prize. The festival, organized in collaboration with Pitt County Schools, the College of Fine Arts and Communications at East Carolina University, and numerous local arts organizations, welcomed thousands of attendees. By taking part in this event, Beta Psi helped bring free access to the arts, promote music appreciation, and strengthen community connections in Greenville. Kappa Beta Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Chi C, Region VIII Kappa Beta hosted an instrument petting zoo for local elementary school students, creating an exciting opportunity for children to explore music in an engaging and hands-on way. Thirteen sisters worked diligently to organize the event, inviting fellow collegiate musicians to present instrument demonstrations and performances tailored to young learners. They welcomed students from five area schools, offering them the chance to experience instruments up close, spark new interests, and foster an early love of music. The chapter demonstrated its commitment to music education, community engagement, and the promotion of musical excellence. Theta Chi University of South Carolina, Tau E, Region VI Theta Chi partnered with the Girl Scouts of South Carolina – Mountains to Midlands for a day of music, crafting, and fun. The event began with a lively drum circle led by sisters, followed by engaging presentations on music majors and global music. Participants enjoyed creating maracas, exploring body movement through interactive videos, and learning about music in new and creative ways. The day concluded with an instrument petting zoo, where students rotated through stations to try instruments such as the ukulele, Otamatone, Ugandan drum, trombone, clarinet, and guitar.
