Kendall Isadore, a member of The String Queens and of Sigma Alpha Iota, got to give back to her home community as she is a graduate of Northrop High School. Lincoln Alumnae Xi A, Region III The Lincoln Alumnae Chapter partnered with the International Clarinet Association to receive instrument donations, make necessary repairs, and distribute instruments to students who needed clarinets. This project expands the work they are already doing with the Lincoln Music Teachers Association's outreach program. They hope to have around forty-eight instruments a year for future clarinetists. Terre Haute Alumnae Beta A, Region V The Terre Haute Alumnae Chapter sponsored a performance at Memorial United Methodist Church for the fifth annual Memorial Music Series. This series honors the legacy of David Gibbs, a well-respected music educator and church musician. Some members of the chapter performed for the concert, as this sponsorship allowed the concert series to continue. Tampa Alumnae Lambda D, Region VI In conjunction with the Delta Chi Chapter, Tampa Alumnae funded twenty-five ukuleles for the music program at Skybrooke K–8 School in Lutz, Florida. This project allowed the school's music teacher, Nicole Boucher, to help foster a love of learning music with many of her students. Theta Lambda Furman University, Tau E, Region VI The Theta Lambda Chapter helped offset costs for purchasing seventy-five recorders and antibacterial solution for Duncan Chapel Elementary School's music program. This Title I school, near the campus of Furman University, allows chapter members to work directly with classes to help teach basic techniques for playing and reading music. To raise the funds to match the grant, the members of Theta Lambda held their annual bake sale. Volusia County Alumnae Lambda C, Region VI The Volusia County Alumnae Chapter hosted their fourth annual public concert to foster connections between generations, as well as encourage concert attendees to learn more about various forms of music. Their mission is to enhance the musical offerings in Daytona Beach by having high level performances by Sigma Alpha Iota members and others from the local community.
