A Word from the National President T Dear PAN PIPES readers, his edition of Pan Pipes contains a wide variety of articles, including a wonderful one on a Master Class with SAI Honorary Member Rachel Barton Pine, violinist. Her love of music is contagious for all who come in contact with her! We are proud to have her as a member of our fraternity. We appreciate all of the volunteers who have made this past fraternity year such a success. Province Officers, Regional Officers, National Executive Board and SAI Philanthropies, Inc. board members, Fraternity and Philanthropies Directors, along with their committee members, have all given their time and support to SAI. Please be sure to update your contact list so that you have the latest information on these fabulous leaders in our organization. A highlight of the National Executive Board's summer meeting is choosing the annual award winners. This year, we had a particularly amazing year of regional finalists. I know you will enjoy the announcement of award winners which will occur in the Fall issue of PAN PIPES and will be posted on the SAI website. We applaud these women who have gone above and beyond the job description and One Tunnel Road Asheville, NC 28805 ( truly made a difference for their chapter, their campus, and their sisters. Congratulations to all of our award winners. As we begin the middle year of this triennium, we continue the work that we started last year — supporting the art of music, expanding our services for members, and being good earth citizens by continuing our efforts in "going green" with electronic resources and publications. Our efforts will culminate in our National Convention, to be held in St. Louis, July 23-27, 2015 at the Union Station Hotel. I hope you will mark these dates on your calendar and start making plans to join all of your sisters in St. Louis! Have a wonderful year!
