DAN LOCKLAIR • • NEWS: Composer Dan Locklair was a feature on the WDAV-FM 89.9 radio/Internet program, Biscuits and Bach, 3/28/10 and 8/15/10. Dan Locklair's A Spiritual Pair (A Diptych for Organ) was featured the Week of 7/10/10 on the nationally syndicated program Pipe Dreams (APM). In mid-2010 Dan Locklair's music was inducted into the International Museum of Peace and Solidarity, Samarkand Republic of Uzbekistan where Locklair scores and records are now permanently on display. A concerto for organ and orchestra, commissioned by the Greater Greensboro Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, with funding from Robert A. Bearden and David C. In the fall of 2010, he received his 23rd consecutive ASCAP Award. He is currently the Board Member for Composition for the College Music Society.
