Voices of the Future

In 2015, the 47th National Convention will be
held at the Union Station Hotel in St, Louis,
41 years after the last time SAIs assembled
in Missouri at the1974 Convention in Kansas
City, MO.
The National Executive Board of Sigma
Alpa Iota has announced the 2015 National
Convention theme — Voices of Experience -
Voices of the Future — and SAIs from each
decade will be represented through workshops,
performances, and recognition awards.
Attendees will hear the premiere performance
of the winning IAMA composition for SATB
Adult Choir, as well as the commissioned
works of the Composer-Judges, Tania León
and Dr. Daniel Brewbaker.
Elections for Province, Regional, and National
Officers will determine the Fraternity's leaders
for the 2015-2018 Triennium. Chapters will
receive instructions for officer nominations next
fall, and ideas for the new national objectives
will also be solicited.
