I've only been here for a week and a half, and I've already improved tremendously. Being able to attend Interlochen has been a dream and because of your donation, I got to live my dream. I enjoy all my classes, and I'm already dreading the day I have to leave. e music scene in my hometown isn't that great so when I am here, I get to see how many other kids are as passionate as I am about the arts. I have been to other camps before for music by they just offer music and even more specifically, just string instruments. ere are so many different majors here and I love being able to meet such a variety of people. In my cabin, there are 4 voice majors, 2 motion picture arts majors, 6 people in the band, and one other girl in orchestra. It has been so fun getting to know them and becoming friends with them. At night when we are all in the cabin, I love hearing about their day and the stuff that they do. Usually, when one person has a concert, the rest of us will go and her play. Even though we all play different instruments or do some other form of art, we are all connected by passion and love for the arts. My cabin has bonded really well so we enjoy having cabin night together. For example, the other night we had a spa night, and I know that we are going to go out on a pontoon boat together soon. ... I will grow so much both as a person and a musician, and it's all possible because of your very generous donation. I can't express my gratitude in words. Have an amazing summer, and if you are ever on campus, I would love meeting you! — Lark Skov, Interlochen Center of the Arts
