Dear PAN PIPES readers, V oices of Experience – Voices of the Future" Have you made your reservations to attend our National Convention held in St. Louis July 23-27? There are so many amazing events planned that you won't want to miss a second: Workshops and speakers – on chapter recruitment, using social media to get the SAI word out, and musicales. We are honored to have Elaine Fukunaga, pianist, as our performer for our Benefit Concert. Sisterhood events, including the Initiation Ritual performed by the National Executive Board and the time honored "Fraternity Sing," are waiting for you at the Union Station Hotel. The National Executive Board is looking forward to hosting everyone. As we finish out the 2012-2015 Triennium, our sincere thanks go out to all those members who have given of themselves unselfishly in leadership positions at all levels of the Fraternity. As we prepare for Convention, be sure to study the biographies of the nominees who have been slated for the various positions. If you or someone you know would like to run for an office, you may still be nominated from the Convention floor. The goal is to have someone in every single NOC position, ready to start the new fraternity year this fall. Our Fraternity has grown by leaps and bounds this triennium! We will be cheering on delegates from the following new or reactivated chapters as they put their mark on the SAI map at Convention: Bethel University, Roosevelt University/Chicago College of Performing Arts, Southeastern Louisiana University, Winthrop University, University of North Alabama, Bethune-Cookman College, Henderson State University, Western Illinois University, Wingate University, Texas A & M University/Commerce; and Louisville, KY, and Charlotte, NC Alumnae Chapters. These new chapters represent the expansion of our mission and offer a glimpse at the expected growth of our organization in the near future as we continue to receive inquiries from women across the country who want to be a part of Sigma Alpha Iota. As we look toward the 2015-2018 Triennium, we see many exciting changes on the horizon for SAI. How proud our Founders would be to see where our path is leading! I look forward to seeing you in St. Louis this July! In SAI sisterhood, Leslie Odom Miller, National President A Word from the National President
