We present it here. Dear Members of SAI, I am still relishing the energy and excitement from our 47 th National Convention, which was held in St. Louis this past July! Our convention theme, "Voices of Experience – Voices of the Future," was so aptly demon- strated by the variety of performers, speakers, and workshops. You will find articles on our headlining performers, including the St. Louis Chamber Chorus at the IAMA Concert, as well as the SAI Philanthropies, Inc. Benefit Concert when pianist Elaine Fukunaga moved us with the beauty of her musicianship. In addition to our wonderful musical performances, we also recog- nized the various National Award winners, including the presentation of the Dorothy Whinery Special Leadership Award to our Past National Presi- dent, Virginia "Ginny" Johnson. What an honor it was for me to surprise her with that award in front of the entire Convention body! Many happy tears and hugs were shared at our Dinner of Honors! Thanks to our very own official Convention photographers, Gregory Dickens (SAI Publications Manager and Art Director) and Roger Nelson (Friend of the Arts), this edition of PAN PIPES is overflowing with pictures that do a great job in catching the special moments of our National Con- vention. In an effort to share the highlights of our Convention, the National Executive Board is busy working on a Province Day presentation, which we hope will "Bring Convention Home" to all of our members. Contact your Province Officers soon to find out when and where your Province Day will be held, so that you can attend and catch the magic of SAI "in action!" As we transition into the 2015-2018 triennium, we welcome both new and returning leaders in Province, Regional, and National positions. Be sure to thank these women who are graciously giving their time, devotion, and love back to our Fraternity by working with our chapters and members to further the cause of music. Enjoy this coming year, filling it with music and sisterhood!
