Both alumnae and college SAIs helped the scouts play a variety of band, string, and percussion instruments, including some world percussion. At the Composer Information table, scouts answered questions about six female composers with information from posters created by the alumnae chapter. ree composers' profiles were American and two had ties to SAI (one initiated member and one Friend of the Arts). e aernoon ended with a local music therapist and alumnae chapter member leading the Girl Scouts in creating music with the instruments they made earlier in the day. e SAIs also shared e Whistle Song and the Chorale with the Girl Scouts and their leaders. It was a great day of shared sisterhood with alumnae members, collegiate sisters, and one distinguished member participating.
