Fraternity honors include the Sword of Honor, National Collegiate Leadership Award, National Collegiate Treasurer's Award, Ruby Sword of Honor, Rose of Honor, Wreath of Achievement, and Ring of Excellence. Currently employed by Postlethwaite & Netterville, Jennifer is a member of the Louisiana Society of CPAs, American Institute of CPAs, and serves on the Young CPA Council and numerous LCPA financial projects. "Although I do not have a music degree and am not able to participate regularly in music performing groups, SAI has given me a way to stay connected to the music world and an avenue to support musicians across the world…My collegiate and alumnae experiences in Sigma Alpha Iota have provided a healthy foundation for my volunteer leadership within the fraternity…I intend to work with SAI leadership to create an overall strategic plan for SAI—both the Fraternity and Philanthropies—a roadmap which will create a successful and financially healthy future for SAI…" NATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT, FRATERNITY DEVELOPMENT Joyce S. Garcia attended University of Tennessee, where she was initiated into Gamma Rho Chapter, and earned a Bachelor's of Science in Microbiology. She has served as president of the Knoxville Alumnae Patroness Chapter, was Psi A Province Officer from 2003 to 2009, was Region 7 Regional Officer from 2007 to 2012, and is currently serving her second term as National Vice President, Fraternity Development. Fraternity honors received include the Sword of Honor, Rose of Honor, and Wreath of Achievement. Joyce works as a laboratory coordinator at Pellisippi State Community College and is active in the music ministry at her church. "Developing, strengthening, and retaining healthy chapters and membership in the fraternity while helping each individual realize what their unique gis bring is vital to keeping the organization on solid ground…I want to continue identifying the needs of membership to enhance their personal and professional growth…to continue ensuring further development of the SAI Alumnae Association…" NATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT, RITUAL AND FRATERNITY EDUCATION Tracey Wygal Withrow is currently serving her first term as National Vice President, Ritual and Fraternity Education. She previously served one term as Region 7 Regional Officer and was Iota C Province Officer from 2006 to 2012. She held several leadership positions in both her collegiate and alumnae chapters. Tracey was initiated into Eta Tau at Shepherd University, where she earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Secondary Education and Music. She holds a Master's of Arts degree in Communication Studies from West Virginia University. She is recipient of the Sword of Honor, Ruby Sword of Honor, Rose of Honor, and Wreath of Achievement. Tracey is employed as Choral Director at James Wood Middle School in Winchester, Virginia, and is a member of the National Education Association, National Association for Music Educators, and American Choral Directors Association. She is very involved Relay for Life within her community. "e areas of organizational strength and leadership I can contribute to this office are: to maintain the high expectations of an organization and its ideals, to communicate in an efficient and consistent manner, to organize events or ceremonies, to inspire members in our ritual and heritage…Fraternity Education is necessary to further the purpose and mission of our fraternity… With greater understanding of our history, purpose, and mission, there is greater respect of our organization…" EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Ruth Sieber Johnson is an Epsilon Tau initiate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, from which she received a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance. She also attended MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL, and did graduate work at UALR in teaching the gied and talented. Aer completing her studies, she joined the roster of the Arkansas Opera eater. She was a charter member of the Little Rock Alumnae Chapter, served as Mu Province President and President/Vice President,Tau B Province Officer, and National Newsletter Director and editor of Tempo! before being hired for her current position. She has received the Collegiate Scholastic Award, Sword of Honor, Rose of Honor, Rose of Dedication, and Ring of Excellence. CHAIRMAN, SAI PHILANTHROPIES, INC Heidi Frankson is an initiate of Iota Epsilon chapter at Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington, Indiana where she earned her Bachelor's of Music and Master's of Music degrees in Vocal Performance. She is the newly appointed Chairman of Sigma Alpha Iota Philanthropies, Inc., having served for the past triennium as the Vice Chairman of the board. Heidi is past president of the Charlotte Alumnae, Bloomington Alumnae, Washington, D.C., and New York Alumnae Chapters. She has also served as Beta A Province Officer. She is the recipient of the Sword of Honor, Rose of Honor, and Wreath of Dedication. Heidi teaches private voice and works as a music consultant for the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System. She has had experience as a corporate development manager for a number of organizations, including the Charlotte Symphony as corporate development manager, the Kinsey Institute, where she dealt with financial sponsorship and annual campaigns and the Marilyn Horne Foundation, where she was Development Director for four years. She resides in Matthews, NC with her husband Michael Hackett, an assistant music professor in trumpet and jazz studies at UNC Charlotte, and son Eric.
