Activities will include music lessons, mentoring, monthly workshops on issues such as body image and self defense, and the opportunity for participants to perform on a concert with the chapter. ETA-IOTA University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music, Sigma A, Region VII e grant will be used to support the university's community outreach by bringing the Sphinx Virtuosi Orchestra Project to the Greater Cincinnati area in October. e non-profit arts and youth development organization is dedicated to fostering diversity in classical music and making it accessible to new audiences with school performances and community concerts. IOTA ETA Indiana State University, Beta A, Region V e grant will help support the 50th Annual Contemporary Music Festival, a three- day festival in October that brings American composers, performers, and speakers to Terre Haute, Indiana, for activities and performances that are free to the public. Members of Iota Eta will be involved in all aspects of the festival, including educational outreach in the schools prior to the event.
