This year's winner will see a performance on April 28, 2018 with a subsequent broadcast/webcast, a professional archival recording of the performance, and travel to and from the rehearsals and concert. Only composers born after April 28, 1988, may apply. Works with a performance history are eligible. Website: www.mtna.org OPPORTUNITIES RECRUITMENT VIDEO CONTEST Create a video of your collegiate or alumnae chapter sharing the benefits of joining Sigma Alpha Iota! Winning videos will be debuted at National Convention, July 26-30, 2018, in Scottsdale, AZ. DEADLINE: March 1, 2018 Requirements • Two minutes or less in length. • Content should NOT be specific to your chapter. • Must include educational content: history of the fraternity, reasons to join, what chapter life is like, etc. • Include a "call to action." • Wearing of letters, singing, etc. is welcomed and encouraged. • Any background music used must be copyright free. Helpful Tips • Use a mix of still photography and live Shots from recruitment events, musicales, service projects, fundraisers, socials, etc. • Interview sisters about why they joined, what their membership means to them, and what they love about SAI. Alumnae chapters should also demonstrate the differences between alumnae and collegiate chapters. • Include "behind-the-scenes" shots of getting ready for an activity. • Share emotions like hugging, clapping, smiles, cheering. • Show off your SAI letters. • Include a "call to action," encouraging others to join SAI.
