PAN PIPES • SUMMER 2018 • sai-national.org 4 E ach year the Fraternity accepts grant applications for SAI booths at state music education conferences. The following reports represent some of those awarded this past year. Missouri The Sigma Alpha Iota booth at the 2018 Missouri Music Educators Association Convention saw about 150 sisters this year and assisted sisters in getting connected with the St. Louis Alumnae, Kansas City Alumnae, Springfield Alumnae, and Columbia Alumnae chapters. Five lost sisters were also reconnected with their chapters. This year organizers had sisters sign up in advance with Sign Up Genius for volunteer slots to work the booth and had the alumnae chapters split the booth cost to ease the collection process. Columbia Alumnae helped the St. Louis members decorate the display with the state chapter information. Roxanda Fenelon directed the step sing, which had an excellent turn out. — Submitted by Roxanda Fenelon, Corresponding Secretary, St. Louis Alumnae Chapter Tennessee e Tennessee Music Education Association hosted its exhibit fair on April 11-13 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. e Nashville Alumnae Chapter created and presented a display at the event.
