Fall 2018 2 PAN PIPES Dear Members of Sigma Alpha Iota, F all brings the start of a new triennium with fresh excitement, renewed energy, and lots of enthusiasm for all things SAI! The fraternity is particularly charged up this fall after our 49th National Convention, held in Scottsdale, AZ at the end of July. Those in attendance truly experienced how SAI has become so near and so dear to our hearts and our lives. I know you will enjoy reading this fall issue of Pan Pipes, which includes wonderful summaries of Convention through both prose and pictures. We again congratulate our National Award winners, who are acknowledged in this issue. The amazing accomplishments of our chapters and individual members are quite amazing! We continue to move forward to ensure that SAI stays current with the trends of today while remaining true to SAI's Mission and Vision. Throughout this process, we must remember our beginnings while striving to be relevant in the present. As a result, our future looks brighter each year. I am proud to be a member of Sigma Alpha Iota and look forward to seeing the accomplishments of our members, chapters, and Fraternity in this new triennium. Fraternally, Leslie Odom Miller, National President A WORD FROM THE NATIONAL PRESIDENT Far left, National President Leslie Odom Miller with 2018 National Alumnae Leadership Award recipient Dr. Gail Robinson-Oturu.
