As her chapter shared, "Amanda has been a constant source of support, encouragement, and knowledge. Her excellent performance as financial advisor has turned our chapter's financial knowledge around significantly. She has been a rock to our chapter, and we would be in a completely different place without her." Kr ystyn Jensen Theta Omega, Texas State Univer sity, Kappa A , Region II K rystyn Jensen attended Texas State University, home of the Theta Omega chapter, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in flute and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She also served as Kappa A Province Officer from 2012-2015. In addition to being Theta Omega's Faculty Advisor, Krystyn works for the Texas State School of Music as an Administrative Assistant where one of her main duties is serving as the school's Recruitment Coordinator. For her hard work, she received the Staff Council Deborah and James Matthews Excellence in Collaboration/ Outreach Award. Having experienced the School of Music Greek organization life, Krystyn is also the Greek Music Organization Liaison, in which she oversees all the music organizations at Texas State (Kappa Kappa Psi, Tau Beta Sigma, Phi Mu Alpha, Mu Phi Epsilon, and Sigma Alpha Iota) and collaborates often with their advisors. This experience also led her to be the organizer of the Campus Interfraternity Music Council. As a member of the Austin Alumnae chapter, Krystyn makes sure that Theta Omega attends events and stays connected with their local alumnae chapters each semester. In the words of the chapter, "Passion flows through her, into our chapter members, and is contagious to everyone she meets. She guides us in so many ways and yet gives us the independence that we need. She pushes us to do better than our best and continues to provide us with encouragement and motivation to support our campus, community, and the national organization in every way possible. She constantly reminds us that SAI is bigger than our small chapter in San Marcos, Texas. She reminds us that our time with SAI is not just the time we spend in the School of Music classrooms holding our chapter meetings, but that it continues afterward with alumnae membership."
