D ear Readers, For many, the coming of fall signals change - a change in the weather, in the start of a new school year, a shift in outdoor sports, or the start of a new performance season. For PAN PIPES, it means the start of a new volume in publication and, as with this issue, a bit of a refresh in style and format. I hope you like the visual changes we have implemented throughout. How many can you identify? This Fall issue maintains the tradition of including a section showcasing the Fraternity and SAI Philanthropies, Inc. Annual Awards. Despite numerous challenges, chapters and individual sisters continued to achieve great things while sharing music in their communities. We also share how a few music organizations got creative in their practice and performance routines to make strides during the pandemic. And after a change of our own, due to the postponement of our SAI National Convention, we begin the yearlong build up to next summer's event with the call for nominations and a peek into the creation of the SAI song that inspired its theme.
