D ear Readers, This issue comes to you during a very busy time for the Fraternity. As I write this, there are just a few weeks left before SAIs from all over the country will converge on Greensboro for the national convention. I am so excited to see longtime SAI friends and to meet new ones later this month! For me, the time crunch means getting a PAN PIPES issue completed, preparing convention displays for this publication and the Composers Bureau, and completing a workshop presentation on SAI resources. Whether you can attend or not, please do read through the convention highlights section to learn about the slate of nominees for office, the wonderful group of convention speakers, and to see how many new chapters we welcomed over the last four years. We also get to check in this issue with a few SAIs who have recently traveled abroad. Hannah Comia shares a peek into her fellowship in Finland, and Jayne Hanlin brings us along to explore two very different venues in Sweden — the Drottningholm Theatre and the ABBA museum.
