The
Jonesboro Alumnae Chapter provided scholarships
to a local music group, e Treble Clef Club, for their
members to receive training in their chosen musical
endeavor. ese students have special needs, such as autism or intellectual
disabilities. ose same students blessed the chapter with a performance
at their Spring Bazaar fundraiser that was held on April 2

. e chapter
was also able to provide a grant to purchase choir stoles for a local high
school choir.

The
Tulsa Alumnae Chapter chose to honor veterans
living at the Claremore Veterans Center in
Claremore, OK. e Veterans Center has a Bucket
Drumming class which residents really enjoy, but unfortunately,
they were using dowel rods and old buckets. e chapter bought 25
pairs of drum sticks and Lowe's contributed ten new buckets for the
project, which the chapter delivered to the excited and grateful veteran
residents. ey contacted the high school band director about having
percussion students visit the center to give the residents some basic
drumming lessons, as well.
