Tamara Shoemaker, Treasurer Tamara Shoemaker was initiated into Alpha Mu Chapter at Carnegie Mellon University, where she earned a Bachelor's of Science in Operations Research and Statistics. She continued her education with a Master's of Applied Statistics at Penn State and has spent her career in various data analytics roles, currently working for Comcast. Tamara has kept music in her life by playing cello in local community orchestras and being active in SAI Alumnae chapters in both Charlotte and Philadelphia, where she served as chapter Treasurer and on numerous committees. is is Tamara's third term on the Philanthropies board, and her first as Treasurer. In addition to being on the board of SAI Philanthropies, Inc. Tamara has served on boards of some local Jewish organizations including the Greater Philly Hillel Network and Next Gen (part of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia). Tracey Wygal Withrow, Chairman Tracey Wygal Withrow was initiated into Eta Tau Chapter at Shepherd University in the Spring of 1996, where she earned a BA degree in Secondary Education with certification in K-12 vocal and instrumental music. She holds a MA degree in Communication Studies from West Virginia University. She has held several leadership positions in both her collegiate and alumnae chapters, later serving as Iota C Province Officer (2006-2012) and Region VII Regional Officer (2012-2015). Tracey also served on the National Executive Board from 2015-2022 as National Vice President, Ritual and Fraternity Education. She is a recipient of the Sword of Honor, Ruby Sword of Honor, Rose of Honor, Wreath of Achievement, and Ring of Excellence. Professionally, Tracey is employed as the music teacher at Frederick Douglass Elementary School in Winchester, VA. She is a member of the Virginia Professional Educators and NAfME. Tracey has been named Educator of the Year by Shepherdstown Middle School, James Wood Middle School, and the Northern Shenandoah Valley ARC. In addition to teaching public school, Tracey owns her own piano and voice studio, Wygal Music Studio. As a performer, Tracey has gained recognition and praise, notably in her musical tribute to the country legend Patsy Cline. Her likeness to Cline's unmistakable, robust voice has received accolades time and time again. Ellis Nassour, author of Honky Tonk Angel: e Intimate Story of Patsy Cline, said the following: "As you know, Patsy is still unequaled...but hey, she better watch out! is gal has the most fantastic voice!." Tracey is currently portraying Patsy Cline in Lovesick Blues: A Tribute to Hank Williams, Sr. and Patsy Cline. Tracey has extensive and long-standing experience in philanthropic endeavors, engagement, education, and management through work for the American Cancer Society. Tracey is event manager and social media manager for the Hampshire County (WV) Relay For Life. Susan Christopher, Vice Chairman Susan Rene Christopher was initiated into the Gamma Gamma Chapter at Shenandoah University in the Spring of 2010, where she served as chapter treasurer and president. While at Shenandoah, she earned a double bachelor's degree in Violin and Mass Communications, as well as a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management. She is currently affiliated with the Winchester Alumnae Chapter where she has served in many different leadership roles. is is Susan's third term on the Philanthropies board, and her second term as Vice Chairman. She is also continuing to serve as the People-to-People Director. She has received the Sword of Honor and the Rose of Honor. Before working on the SAI Philanthropies, Inc. Board, Susan worked for the Bridgewater Virginia Historical Society. In this position she assisted the board in building the new organization in their beginning stages and creating an internship program with the local college. She assisted in duties from organization and development, to fundraising and performing at benefit concerts. Susan is currently a violinist in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and owns a recording studio with her husband. She also works as a Production Administrator for a government defense contracting company of the United States Navy. The mission of SAI Philanthropies, Inc. is to promote all aspects of music creation, performance, and scholarship; and encourage service for and through music on the campus, in the community, in the nation, and throughout the world. We are excited to welcome our new Board of Directors for the 2022-2025 triennium. The SAI Philanthropies, Inc. Board of Directors is currently composed of six community and Fraternity leaders, with various backgrounds, experience, and strengths, who will help us accomplish our goal to ensure that SAI Philanthropies, Inc. is sustainable for years to come while also continuing to maintain and develop musical, educational, and leadership opportunities. Each board member contributes to our nonprofit and musical mission through the governance and financial management of SAI Philanthropies, Inc. New Leadership for SAI Philanthropies, Inc.
