D ear Members of Sigma Alpha Iota, As the first year of this triennium comes to a close, I am both impressed by and grateful for how much we've been able to accomplish together. Following our fabulous 2022 National Convention, our members hit the ground running. Many thanks to my colleagues on the National Executive Board for devoting countless hours to ensure the Fraternity, that we all love, continues to thrive and evolve. To our Province Officers, you have the most critical and impactful job of supporting our chapters while keeping them connected to the Fraternity on a national level. We would not be where we are as an organization without dedicated volunteers such as yourselves. To our Regional Officers who guide, direct, and support our POs, thank you for bridging the gap between the NEB and our POs, and for sharing your knowledge, advice, and encouragement with them. To our Fraternity Directors, thank you for stepping in and creating a foundation for your important roles in our organization. Your efforts have been acknowledged and are greatly appreciated. However, our accomplishments would not be possible without the support, dedication, and commitment of our membership. So, a heartfelt thanks to you all, as well. This spring issue of PAN PIPES celebrates additional member achievements and events that have taken place throughout the Fraternity year. Travel across the country to various conferences to see how our members gathered and represented SAI. Become inspired by our members as they share their personal and professional accomplishments. Find motivation in reading about service projects conducted by our chapters and members. Admire the resurgence in popularity of the accordion. Then take a trip to Austria to celebrate a classical legend before globetrotting on to Belgium to explore the Musical Instrument Museum. This issue also spotlights Distinguished Members initiated throughout the year and highlights several of our hard-working Fraternity Directors. Please take some time to get to know these amazing musicians and volunteers. Lastly, I would be remiss if I did not give a shout out to SAI Philanthropies, Inc. The current members of its board have been very focused this year on increasing the visibility of all that Philanthropies offers our members as well as making sure all members can see the impact of their donations. This issue highlights two major campaigns for SAI Philanthropies, Inc. currently underway: the newly redesigned Symphony Society and the Birthday Bash Campaign in honor of SAI's 120 th birthday this year. Please join me in honoring their efforts by contributing to this worthy cause. Much SAI Love, Jessica Chichester, National President PAN PIPES welcomes new article submissions and ideas.
