Chichester, Ph.D National President Jessica was initiated into Sigma Alpha Iota by the Sigma Omega chapter at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA where she majored in Biochemistry and played the euphonium in the Symphonic Band. Her service to SAI began in college, where she served as chapter president and was honored with both the Sword of Honor and Ruby Sword of Honor. Aer graduating, Jessica affiliated with the Selinsgrove Alumnae Chapter while pursuing a doctorate in Microbiology and Molecular Virology at omas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. During graduate school, she was elected Chi A Province Officer, a role she held for six years. She was subsequently appointed Region VIII Regional Officer and served in that capacity for another six years. In 2014, Jessica was appointed the National Vice-President, Collegiate Chapters, a position that she held for eight years. Most recently, she was elected to her second term as National President at the 2025 National Convention, an honor she is deeply humbled to continue. Jessica's dedication to Sigma Alpha Iota has been recognized with the Rose of Honor, the Wreath of Achievement, and the Ring of Excellence. She credits active leadership in SAI with allowing her to keep her passion for music alive in a career full of scientific experiments. Jessica currently resides in Glen Mills, PA and works as a Principal Scientist in the Regulated Bioanalytics and Exploratory Vaccines group at Merck & Co. Inc. She continues to play the Euphonium in community ensembles. Siteria Gregory National Vice President, Alumnae Chapters Siteria M. Gregory is a Jacksonville, FL native and was initiated into eta Nu Chapter at Florida A&M University (FAMU) in Fall 2002, where she sang 2nd Alto in the award-winning FAMU Concert Choir. While an undergraduate, she served in multiple leadership roles, including Treasurer, Fundraising Chair, Corresponding Secretary, and Stepmaster. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2004 with a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture. She is a recipient of the Sword of Honor. In 2005, she co-founded the Sig-Phi Honda Battle of the Bands Weekend in Atlanta, Georgia, an annual event that lasted 15 years and raised over $20,000 for Sigma Alpha Iota (SAI) and Phi Mu Alpha philanthropies. While in graduate school at the University of Georgia, she joined the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter, contributing as Fundraising Chair and Musicale Committee member while performing locally and as a studio backup vocalist. She was the first African-American woman to earn a Master of Natural Resources (MNR) with a Focus in Forest Biotechnology from UGA in 2009. Siteria returned to Tallahassee in 2008, where she served in the Tallahassee Alumnae Chapter as VP Programs, member of the Fundraising Committee, and Musicale committee co-chair. In 2021, she led the chapter's rechartering as President, completing extension requirements in under five months during the pandemic. From 2022–2025, she served as Lambda B Province Officer, increasing membership retention by over 30%, boosting Province Day participation, and achieving an over 90% on-time report submission rate. Her unique strategic systems improved chapter management and inspired adoption by other Fraternity leaders. An advocate for inclusion, she served on SAI's inaugural Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force under Dr. Keena Day during the 2022–2025 triennium. Professionally, Siteria is an entrepreneur. She also chairs the Fundraising and Technology committees of the Tallahassee Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma eta Sorority, Inc., raising over $150,000 for scholarships and youth programs. In 2024, she was honored as Delta of the Year. Siteria's passion for SAI is grounded in her unwavering commitment to sustainability, accountability, and inclusivity.
