Fraternity Awards Fraternity Awards 2 2 PAN PIPES FALL 2026 2026 SAI 16 KATHERINE BECKER NATIONAL COLLEGIATE CHAPTER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD Epsilon Epsilon West Chester University, Chi A, Region VIII Epsilon Epsilon has demonstrated tremendous growth and resilience this Fraternity year. After working through challenges with interpersonal relationships in recent years, the chapter made an intentional effort to strengthen sisterhood, improve communication, and create a more collaborative environment. Members have developed stronger bonds and fostered a chapter culture in which sisters feel included, supported, and valued. The chapter has also strengthened its organizational practices, communicating effectively and utilizing appropriate Fraternity resources when questions or challenges arise. This renewed chapter culture has contributed to significant membership growth. In the 2025–2026 academic year, Epsilon Epsilon initiated twenty-one new members, reflecting both the strength of its recruitment efforts and the increasingly positive environment members have worked to create. The chapter has complemented this growth with strong programming in service, fundraising, and social activities that provide members with opportunities to engage with one another, the university, and with the surrounding community. Service through music has been an important part of Epsilon Epsilon's year. In collaboration with Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, the chapter organized a benefit concert for the Kardon Arts Center for Music Therapy, an organization serving the greater Philadelphia region. The project allowed members to use their musicianship to support the broader community while building relationships with another campus music organization. Epsilon Epsilon has demonstrated outstanding support of the Fraternity's philanthropic mission, contributing over $1,000 to SAI Philanthropies, Inc. during the Fraternity year. Through significant membership growth, meaningful service, strong programming, generous philanthropic support, and an intentional commitment to strengthening sisterhood, Epsilon Epsilon has exemplified the ideals of Sigma Alpha Iota.
