a national stage Epsilon Zeta Initiate To Compete for Miss America O n June 16, at the Crooker Theater in Brunswick, Molly Bouchard, 21 of Caribou, was crowned Miss Maine 2012. Bouchard will represent the state throughout the next year and earns a spot in the 2013 Miss America Pageant. Molly Bouchard, 21 of Caribou, is a graduate of Caribou High School and a graduate of the Boston Conservatory of Music in Boston majoring in vocal performance. She presented a classical vocal selection for her talent and her platform is STARS: Sharing Talents and Reducing Stereotypes. Molly also received the Steven "Daddy" Jensen Award and the Talent Award. Molly will spend the next year travelling the state to spread the message about her platform and the Miss America Organization, a non-profit organization awarding more scholarship money for young women than any other organization in the world. In January, Miss Bouchard will represent Maine in the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas which airs on ABC. Molly is by no means the first SAI to compete in the state and national Miss America Competitions. More than 30 SAI members have vied for the title, including four to claim the tiara and sash.
