This year, they celebrated 2010 their 75th anniversary year with many continued projects and joyful remembrances of the work of the past. The fraternity had a strong focus on music education this year. In December, they cohosted the Barnes and Noble Bookfair to benefit the Des Moines Public Schools music department. This event earned more than $1,000 in addition to 63 donated instruments valued at approximately, $12,000. Late in the year when budget cuts threatened to ravage the DMPS music department, members kept apprised of the developments and advocated strongly for music education in the public schools. As true models of sisterhood, members supported each other through the deaths of three spouses and at least two parents as well as marriages, pregnancies, and births. Throughout it all, they continued to work to meet the new National Objectives through their meetings, programs, musicales, collaborations, and contributions. a lu mn ae c h a pter province ac h ievement Award Regional Finalists in Bold REGION I I I I I II II alumnae CHAPTERPROVINCE Denver Xi C Moscow/Pullman Nu Orange County Delta C Phoenix Omicron Reno Delta B Topeka Theta A Tulsa Zeta A REGIONALUMNAE CHAPTERPROVINCE II Wichita Theta B III Des Moines Xi B III Minneapolis/St. Paul Epsilon B IV No Nominees V Evanston Gamma A V Grand Rapids Alpha B V Indianapolis Beta A V Rockford Gamma B REGIONALUMNAE CHAPTERPROVINCE VI Volusia County Lambda C VII Winchester Iota C VII Knoxville Psi A VII Richmond Iota B VIII New York Phi B VIII Rochester Eta A National Collegiate Treasurer Award O OLIVIA HUG H Delta Tau, Augustana College, Gamma B Province, Region V livia Hugh, a member of the Delta Tau Chapter, is the recipient of the 2010 National Outstanding Collegiate Treasurer Award.
