This experience with the National Symphony Orchestra's education department has been invaluable to my education in the arts management field. I have had many rewarding and amazing experiences that I will remember for the rest of my life. I could not have thought of a more perfect place to spend my summer, as this internship enabled me to utilize my education in Violin Performance and Music Management. ... I interacted with world renowned violinist Joshua Bell, conductor Emil de Cou, and [Composers Bureau member] John Adams. I have seen over two dozen performances at the Kennedy Center in the Opera House, Eisenhower Theater, Millennium Stage, and Concert Hall. I have attended many concerts and musicals and even performed in concerts myself; being surrounded by music every day is one of the best aspects of this internship and I treasure the time that I have spent here. — Angela M. Bethoney Eta Mu initiate, recipient of the Arts Management Summer Internship at the Kennedy Center
