Palmer is an active educator, composer, performer and clinician. She received her Bachelor of Arts in music technology from Susquehanna University and her Masters of Science in music education from Towson University. She is currently in the Doctor of Musical Arts degree program at the Flora L. ornton School of Music at the University of Southern California (USC), majoring in Music Teaching and Learning, Music eory and Analysis, with an emphasis in Arts Leadership and Collegiate Pedagogy. She is the founder and executive director of Modern Maestro, Inc., an outreach and engagement program for K-12 students with a strong interest in music. Modern Maestro, Inc. will begin programming and classes in summer 2016. International Study Grant for Graduate Students Lucy Abrams The Kennedy Center Internship Meghan Brooks Mu Epsilon, George Mason University, Iota A, Region VIII Music Business/Technology Scholarship (in memory of Dorothy Cooke Whinery) Aubrey Wellfare Edmond Alumnae, Zeta B, Region II Aubrey Wellfare is a rising second year graduate student in the Arts Management Program at American University in Washington, DC. Originally from Oklahoma City, Aubrey joined Sigma Alpha Iota at Oklahoma City University and continued to stay active in the Edmond and Oklahoma City alumni chapters. Her passion for music led her to pursue arts management and hopes to become part of the education team at a cultural organization. Supporting arts education is a primary focus for her work and thanks Sigma Alpha Iota Philanthropies, Inc. for supporting her in the journey to do so.
