It also brings new chapters! We welcome four new collegiate chapters: Mu Chi - Ohio Northern University; Mu Upsilon - Jackson State University; Mu Iota - Western Kentucky University; and Mu Tau - Colorado State University, and one new alumnae chapter: Asheville, NC. We are excited to have you join our chapter roster. Congratulations to all! In addition, on page 24, you will read about several Distinguished Members who have been initiated this year. We are especially honored to have Gloria Estefan and Dr. Pamela Madsen accept our invitation to membership as Honorary Members. Both women continue to make impressive contributions in the music industry and to the world around them. Welcome to our Sisterhood! Our fundraising efforts for Pan's Cottage at the MacDowell Colony (see page 12) continue with many chapters and individual members giving their monetary support to this important part of SAI's history. I know you will enjoy reading inspirational words from musicians who have stayed there. As we approach our National Convention, to be held at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, AZ, July 26-30, 2018, I encourage you all to make plans now to attend. Applications to perform and to present workshops will be coming out in the fall. The experience of hearing 800+ members singing our Chorale together is awe-inspiring!
