he first mention of
achievement awards in the
Pan Pipes archives appeared
73 years ago in the Oct. 1944
issue as Beta Chapter at Northwestern
University was honored with the Chapter
Achievement Award. In 1947, at the 25th
National Convention in Detroit, the first
National Leadership Award was presented
to Blodwen Roberts, president of Sigma
Gamma at the University of Tulsa.
