Joybox Express incorporates an appreciation for blues and jazz, while modeling athletic skill and disipline. Joybox Express is a 501(c)(3) that raises money for charitable organizations that enhance children's lives, focusing on those that provide access to programs in the arts and athletics. Program creator Mark Braun, also known as "Mr. B", will spend an hour at the school with his piano trike, which pulls a 600 pound piano, teaching the children about the roots of Boogie-woogie, hearing examples, and learning about the strength and skills needed to be a musician.
