COLLEGIATE SERVICE PROJECT AWARDS
Sigma Gamma had the honor of working with the bART Center for Music, a nonprofit music school and conservatory in
Tulsa, for the second year. Their yearlong project focused on establishing and rehearsing with the bART Choir. This was a choir
composed of kids, ages 10-17, that was led by two sisters and assisted by others. The group had 2-hour rehearsals every two
weeks. They sang the National Anthem at a conference in the Bank of Oklahoma Center in Tulsa. Unfortunately, due to the
COVID-19 pandemic, the choir did not get to perform their final two concerts or participate in the Philanthropy Dinner that was
planned. However, overall, this program was a success, and the chapter hopes to continue this collaboration in the future.
The Sigma Gamma Chapter helped organize the Tulsa bART Center for Music Choir.
