They established a list of both sisterhood and executive board goals for the year, which helped them stay focused and productive. They use a digital calendar to keep all members organized and created an "Officer Training Board Game" to help upcoming officers feel more secure in their duties. Theta Lambda was very ambitious, planning and completing a large number of projects and fundraisers. In addition to the normal social and musical chapter events, the chapter hosted Province Day and had both a semi-formal and formal for members. They organized a Music Matters event with an opera focus for the local Girl Scouts to earn their music badges, which included an instrument petting zoo, basic conducting, dance activities, and instrument building. Near the holidays, the chapter filled ten care packages for a battalion deployed in Afghanistan through the Soldiers' Angels project, and also recorded a CD of holiday music by their chapter for each box. The chapter also sponsors two local scholarships, one for SAI members and one for an undergraduate student at the school of music. Many Theta Lambda members were greatly upset by a proposal by the South Tau B PO Mary Thomas presents the National Chapter Achievement Award to Theta Lambda. Carolina governor to eliminate funding for the SC Arts Commission, so the chapter partnered with the local Phi Mu Alpha chapter to form a group called SC Students for the Arts. They contacted music and arts departments across the state and travelled to the Statehouse in February for an Arts Advocacy rally. To support their plans and fulfill their philanthropic goals, including a donation of $1000 to SAI Philanthropies, Inc., Theta Lambda held numerous events and fundraisers. They held their annual Viennese Ball fundraiser, where they teach ballroom dancing lessons, and hosted two benefit concerts. The first benefit concert was their annual Christmas concert, co-sponsored with the local Phi Mu Alpha chapter, and all funds raised were donated to a local music education program for much needed instrument repairs. The second concert was open to all Furman students and faculty to perform, and was held in conjunction with the chapter's largest endeavor, the Beat Brahms 5K race. Professional timers were used, a member's father dressed as Brahms to be the pace setter, and anyone who beat Brahms' time won a free ticket to that evening's concert of Brahms' music. All proceeds from these events were donated to Artists Striving to End Poverty (ASTEP).
