Their province officer had this to say about the chapter: Each year this chapter amazes me with their innovative ideas to promote our fraternity and its ideals in the community. Last year they did a fantastic project at the Oak Park Library for high school and college students about careers in music. They had a panel of eight professionals and invited the public to learn about everything from managing an orchestra, to producing music to music therapy. This year, they went above and beyond and had a free-to-the-public master class with internationally renowned Rachel Barton Pine at the Oak Park Library. Over 100 people attended. In additional to these types of projects, they consistently recruit new and exciting members, both participating members and honorary. In addition, they are just plain FUN and I think as a result they enjoy full participation from most of their membership on many different events. They really seem to understand the sisterhood aspect of our fraternity. I really feel that this chapter is a stellar example of what an alumnae chapter should be.
